Hey friends… check-out our first-ever YouTube vid, which is also our first ever ‘Unplugged’ recording…

Hey all… quick update. Been hard at work over the past couple months. New songs are in the works, so we’re tearing apart ideas and putting them back together. Meanwhile, we got in the studio to record ‘unplugged’ versions of a few tunes and grabbed some video footage while we were at it…. stay tuned for some super-sweet YouTubery….

Why does the passing of a technology tycoon I never met register as such a personal loss? Probably because greatness is recognizable across even the greatest spans of time and distance. We’ll miss you, Steve.

Just a quick shout-out to the Thousand Oaks crowd who came out last Friday. Tip jar was full. Either we were at a strip club, or headed to one shortly. :p

Stevie Wonder at the Hollywood Bowl tonight. The songs, the stories, the slightly nasal gutteral tone. In love with living.

The band has been rehearsing quite a bit recently… re-learning songs that were written or altered during recording. Paring things down to a more basic sound…. going with a 3-piece lineup (think Police with a bit of an edge). Simple. Pure. Less muss, but at the moment a bit more fuss….. It’s something of a process to peel back the layers and discover the essential.

A wise man once said “rock should be heavy enough for the boys and sweet enough for the girls”. Couldn’t agree more.
