We had a great time playing at El Cid with our new friends Anthem of Silence (really cool band). Thanks for making it out y’all !! Looks like a couple new tunes “Call to Me” and “I Don’t Mind” were received well… can’t wait to get into the studio and record them…

It’s still a ways from the finish line cuz the songs need to be “fleshed-out” a bit more and we have to argue before we can agree. In the old days, they called it “pre-production”… you know?– like when [insert famous band] goes to Maui to make demo’s of the new songs before coming back to LA to make a record in a huge studio? Of course, it’s not quite that glamorous for your beloved Throws.

But anyway, Thursday was like any other rehearsal until Steven Tyler walked by in the hallway and we realized that Aerosmith was working on *their* new songs in the next room. Yea, that kinda put a few things in perspective…
